Late at night

I still search for the meaning of light

The thoughts running through my mind

Looking for answers that I know I can’t find

Questioning every aspect of life

I wonder why living is strife

Without pain there is no gain

Only hope to maintain

We don’t get to choose how we start in this life

We can’t control everything happening to us and that’s rife

Even though some are more fortunate than others

There is no such thing as "luck do wonders"

We are all assigned a path purposely

It is up to us how we want to design our destiny

Nothing happens without a cause

You create your own chances and draws

What's happening to you is happening because of you

What you focus on is what you will manifest to become true

Life presents you so many options to choose from

The choices you make will determine what’s to come and who you become

We are all born free, but everything else has a price

The choices you make will cost you your time, so choose wisely that’s my advice

Don’t waste your life on a rolling dice

Before you pick a road make sure it’s worth the sacrifice

Or it will end up costing you twice.
